Description: This actual ancient oil lamp dates from the time of the early Christians and reminds one of Psalm 119:105 – “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” .

Made of pottery (terra cotta) the lamp had a wick placed in it and oil poured in the bowl.

Solomon tells us that it was the woman’s job to keep the lamp from going out. If she did, she was a virtuous wife and worth more than rubies! (Proverbs 31:10-31)

Each lamp comes with a certificate of authenticity signed by Dr. Franke Zollman, Biblical archeologist.
